Leadership

“ I realize how important the “little things” are to the residents that we serve.”

Randall McClellan

NHA

Administrator

Randall brings over twenty years of experience as a Nursing Home Administrator, serving in multiple states and in multiple settings including: Assisted Living, Continuing Care Retirement Communities, Skilled Nursing Facilities, and Post Acute Care. He originally served as a facility social worker, where he enjoyed working one on one with residents and their families to help transition care seamlessly, while reducing the administrative burden and worry. From there, he was elevated to an Interim Administrator role, eventually taking on his initial Nursing Home Administrator role. He is passionate about serving residents and the community of Lake Way, while leading a team of caring and kind individuals.

“ I truly enjoy what I do and also enjoy building relationships with our residents and seeing them smile.”

Rachel Overcast

RN

Director of  Nursing

Learning the clinical operations of skilled nursing facility care from the ground up, Rachel has served in most nursing roles in the long term and post-acute care setting including: Licensed Practical Nurse, floor nurse, medication nurse, and unit manager. From there, she took on the role as Assistant Director of Nursing to eventually become the Director of Nursing where she has served for over 10 years. She is deeply connected to the local community and is passionate about her part of providing quality care in a caring environment and leading a team of nurses and support staff that put the resident at the center of every decision made.

“While I was in middle school my mother took a sitting job for an elderly woman and I would often go with her to visit and spend the day with them. During those visits, I created a bond, and she became just like a grandmother to me and made me want to work in Long Term Care.”

Ellen Warren

Admissions Director

Ellen has worked at Lake Way Nursing and Rehab since early 2014 where she started as a certified nursing assistant with the rehab team. From there, she was trained as a restorative aid, and eventually became a resident service liaison. She was promoted to social services director in 2016, where she has served the community since. She is the first point of contact for new residents and their families and works to ensure that the individualized needs of each person are met. A Marshall County native, Ellen is deeply connected to the local community and considered a resource for local clinicians referring residents to Lake Way for senior transition care or short term rehabilitation to home care. During her time away from Lake Way, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children and attending gymnastics and competitive cheer events.
